Job Description
We are seeking a Community & Program Associate to develop and execute our founder programs, ecosystem partnerships, and community-building initiatives. This role combines strategic relationship development with practical program management to create meaningful engagement opportunities that deliver measurable value to our portfolio companies and the broader climate deep tech community.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Building: Develop and manage the Earth VC’s community network to foster added-value/ value creation for portfolio
Event Management: Plan and execute high-impact roundtables, workshops, and networking events that showcase portfolio companies and attract quality investors
Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with accelerators, VCs, and climate tech organizations to expand our ecosystem
Founder Support: Create mentorship opportunities and resources that address the specific needs of climate tech founders
Knowledge Management: Develop vertical-specific resources for portfolio companies across energy transition, green manufacturing, and sustainable agriculture
Requirement
Industry Experience: 6-8 years of experience in community management, program coordination, or ecosystem development.
Event Management: Demonstrated ability to organize and execute professional events from concept to completion.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate meaningful connections across diverse stakeholder groups.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with founders and investors
Organizational Skills: Exceptional project management abilities and attention to detail.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field (optional). We value true experience rather than the degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Founder Experience: Prior experience working with startups or in a founder-facing role.
Climate/Deep Tech Knowledge: Basic understanding of climate technologies and the startup ecosystem in APAC is a big plus.
Network Leverage: Existing relationships within the climate tech or venture capital ecosystem
Data Analytics: Ability to measure program effectiveness and translate insights into improved community offerings
Content Creation: Experience developing community resources, newsletters, or educational materials
