Job Description

Group14 is seeking a Bilingual (English/Korean) Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team on a temporary basis. This role will provide comprehensive support across accounting operations, including translation support. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with strong accounting knowledge, fluency in both English and Korean, and the ability to support the transition of a newly acquired Korean company into our U.S. operations. This temporary assignment is expected to be full time and run through March 2026.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Process and manage Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding and payment runs

  • Support period close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries

  • Assist with expense reporting and compliance with company policies

  • Translate financial and operational documents between English and Korean

  • Provide interpretation support for meetings, communications and cross-company collaboration

  • Assist in audits, tax returns, budgeting, and other projects

  • Assist accounts receivable with processing customer invoices and payments

  • Support the integration of financial operations, policies, and reporting between the U.S. and Korean entities during post-acquisition transaction activities

Requirement

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within manufacturing

  • Business-fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger experience

  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Proficiency with accounting systems (ERP experience a plus) and Excel

  • Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills


OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Familiarity with Korean accounting standards and common business practices

Base Pay Range: $35 - $45 USD
