As we close the books on 2022 and look forward to 2023, we would like to invite you to take a moment to look back on our journey of protecting our home - the Earth.
This year saw us launch our Earth Venture Fund I, which seeks to invest in Seed to Series A startups that serve the goals of switching to renewable energy, abandoning fossil fuel, and increasing the level of carbon storage.
Despite the macroeconomic challenges, we managed to invest in three of the most promising startups in the Asia Pacific market in robotics and new material technology including Clearbot in Hong Kong, and Alterpacks in Singapore. We’re also honored to have co-invested with partners including Plug and Play APAC, SEEDS Capital, Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, Gobi Ventures, Asia Sustainability Angels and CarbonX Capital this year.
Besides investing, we have been fortunate to host 10+ esteemed speakers at our Earth Talk series in partnership with the Embassy of Ireland covering a wide range of topics such as ‘Global Trends in Climate Investments’, ‘Artificial Intelligence in Climate Change’, ‘Impact Investing - Uncovering Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities’ and ‘The Global Oceans and Sustainable Development’ (in partnership with CarbonX)

This year also marks a great starting point for Earth Venture Hub, our climate change innovations house, to support sustainable and climate tech entrepreneurs. With this movement, we have worked with 20+ green-focused startups in Vietnam & Singapore to provide a 3-month non-equity support package.
In 2023, we will continue being active in investing, hoping to empower more climate
tech entrepreneurs to decarbonize the economy and accelerate our transformation to a more sustainable world. At the same time, we also want to contribute our insights to help build the climate tech innovation ecosystem in more markets and mobilize more stakeholders to join this exciting journey with us.
